The Lerner Theatre

Built in 1942, the Lerner Theatre has since been beautifully restored to its original ambience and detailed authenticity. Four two-story Ionic columns separated by three filigreed arches are the focal point of the bold 18th century neoclassical facade. Renaissance Doric pilasters spanning the length of the structure add drama and complete the impressive exterior design. Attention to detail extends to the interior as evidenced by the ornate inlaid marble floors throughout the lobby and lounge. Resembling a 19th century European opera house, the auditorium features a lofty domed ceiling, stellar chandelier, and generous balcony. While relaxing in the crimson upholstered seats, notice the gilded plasterwork that frames the grand stage and adorns the proscenium arch. The Lerner is truly a work of art.

As the name implies, the Ballroom is a beloved gem within the Lerner Theatre.
